Examination and Promotion
The
school conducts a variety of innovative tools of evaluation to fulfill the
new trends of education as desired by C.B.S.E. It includes informal tests,
worksheets, activities as part of the formative and summative evaluations.
The pattern of assessments for Std. 1-VIII is based on the continuous
comprehensive school based evaluation scheme issued as per the directives of
the C.B.S.E. The students of Std. I to V are promoted based upon CCE.
Students
of Std. VI to XI are promoted to the next higher class based on the
following criteria.

Minimum pass mark of 40% in each subject in
the terminal exams and internal assessments.

In non-scholastic activities, minimum 'C'
grade should be scored for each evaluation.
Subjects like Value Education, Computer and G.K subjects will be assessed
internally and a minimum of 45% of marks is necessary for securing a grade
in the terminal evaluations.
Results of tests and examination will be entered in the report cards and the
parents are requested to examine and sign them on time.
No re-examination will be conducted in any subject. The result once declared
is final and cannot be reconsidered.
Any pupil whose conduct is not up to the school's standard will be asked to
leave the school.
Pupils who absent themselves from examination will be considered as having
failed in the examination concerned. |
