Cherubic Smiles at Devamatha KG The smiling
competition for K.G. was conducted on 9th July, 2008. We had special
guests from and Ms.
Siobhan Campbell the senior students of of the children for the competition. Vegetable Day "Go green, eat veggies!" This was the slogan for the Vegetable Day celebrated on 26th June.2008. Vegetable market was put up in KG Lobby. Vegetable salad was prepared and the tiny tots enjoyed relishing it.
Fresher's Day The Fresher's Day held on 18th June, 2008 was a colourful function to welcome the KG kiddies. The seniors of kindergarten entertained them with music and dance. Mrs. Paul Rose, Chief Exam-Co-ordinator , the chief guest of the day, in her welcome address to the LKG babies spread message of love in the form of a song. The excited and exuberant juniors enjoyed the day.
Reopening of UKG The kiddies of Upper Kindergarten were thrilled to begin their second year in KG with great enthusiasm and energy on the 2nd of June, 2008. LKG Reopens The Lower Kindergarten reopened on the 4th of June, 2008. Children accompanied by their parents took their first step to their new abode. The acclimatization for the kiddies were on the 4th June and 6th June. Regular classes began on the 9th of June. Orientation Programme for Parents An Orientation programme on "Effective Parenting" was conducted for the parents of LKG & UKG on 7th June, 2008. Rev. Fr. Roy Kannanchira CMI- Kochettan of Deepika, Director , Balasakhyam was the chief guest. He adviced the parents to create memories in their children from the time they are born. Rev. Fr. Shaju Edamana, our Principal addressed the gathering. Our KG Co-ordinator Mrs. Asha N V introduced the teachers of KG. The newly elected PTWA representatives are : UKG - Mr. Francis Aji, parent of Martin Francis, Mrs. Lumna Soji Kavalakkat, parent of Tanisha Soji Kavalakkat LKG - Mr. Biju K R, parent of Ryan Arjane Mrs. Jovina Raphy, parent of Samuel John
Vidyarambham To imbibe the true spirit of learning, the KG students had their Vidhyarambham on 11th June, 2008. All the kiddies were blessed by our Principal Rev. Fr. Shaju Edamana. The solemn ceremony began with a prayer and recitals from the Holy Scriptures. The children laid their offerings to our Patroness- Devamatha - Mother of God
