DEVITES FORM HUMAN CHAIN FOR MULLAPERIYAR ISSUE
Thrissur : The students of Devamatha CMI Public School formed a human chain to express their solidarity for the Mullaperiyar issue. About 2000 students and the staff of the school raised slogans of “We are Indians, we are one”. They took a solemn pledge to stand by the people affected by the crisis and urged the concerned authorities to find an immediate solution for the sburning issue.
Rev. Fr. Shaju Edamana CMI, the Principal and staff members Mrs. Glaze George, Mrs. Merzalin Yesudas, Mrs. Tessy Ignatius and Sr. Elsy Vadakkumpadan spoke on the occassion. Students leaders Roshni K.S and Ramdas V. Menon echoed the sentiments of the student community in this regard.
