The 80th Independence Day Celebration was successfully conducted at Devamatha CMI Public School, Thrissur, on 15 August 2026 at 8:30 AM at the Quadrangle.

The programme was honoured by the presence of Col. Shree Kumar Nair, Former Indian Army Officer and Distinguished NCC Trainer, as the Chief Guest.

The celebration was conducted with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm, with the participation of students, teachers and staff. The programme highlighted the values of patriotism, unity and national pride, making the occasion a memorable celebration of India’s Independence.

The event concluded successfully with a strong sense of pride and commitment towards the nation.
