Learn by doing

Transforming classrooms into practical learning spaces

At Devamatha CMI Public School, education extends beyond textbook reading. In alignment with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023, we implement Kaushal Bodh—a vocational education programme for Grades 6 through 8.

Through projects, experiments and teamwork, students acquire practical life skills, cultivate a dignity of labour and discover real-world applications across environmental, technical and social domains.

Work with Life Forms

Hands-on learning in our campus kitchen garden

Learning by doing is at the heart of Devamatha’s educational philosophy. In our Work with Life Forms sessions, students step outdoors to prepare plant beds, space seedlings and nurture saplings. Guided by teachers and staff, the shared work builds environmental responsibility and a collaborative spirit.
